In this intermediate level class, learn to make the motifs that crochet is most known for: Granny Squares! These funky squares are a great way to practice crochet stitches and you can use them to make everything from accessories to home decor. The first class will focus on the making of the squares, how to change colors, and tips for making these simple shapes even easier to work. In the second session, Linda will show you different methods of joining and seaming the squares, such as join-as-you go, whipstitch, slip-stitch and more. We'll also discuss how to make different sizes, how to block the grannies, and different items you can make by putting them all together.
