Have you always admired Fair Isle Sweaters but thought that you could never do that? This is the class for you! We'll introduce you to knitting with two-colors and get you started making your very own patterned hat!
Supplies Needed: DK-weight wool or wool-blend yarn (good choices include Baby Cashmerino, Rustic Tweed, Silky Wool, and Vintage DK),
a 16" long circular needle in whatever size will give you about 6 stitches per inch (I used a size 4),
stitch markers (ring-style preferably),
optional: highlighter tape.
(also bring to class: pencil and paper)
Prerequisites: You must be able to knit in the round.

Learn to make a lovely lace shawl in this fun class. You'll learn to begin your shawl invisibly at the back of the neck, to read a lace chart, and to work with lace-weight yarns doing left- and right-leaning decreases.
Supplies Needed: lace-weight yarn and a size 4 circular needle in a 36" length, stitch markers (ring-style preferably), optional: highlighter tape. (also bring to class: pencil and paper)
Prerequisites: Cast on, knit, purl, bind off
